Hello, I've been a member of BYC for awhile, but thought to join here now that we have goats as well.

We're in the Great Plains of Colorado, have a mini, almost off the grid homestead. And back to having some animals, we did growing up. We'd prefer horses, that was my life focus, but no enough acreage, no finances to support them. So, its several kinds of fowl, 3 goats, soon 3 rabbits, dogs n cats. Enough to keep us old folks busy, hahaha.

Welcome! Goats can be fence challenging but, super smart & often overly friendly. Yes horses are wallet challenging -- yep, been there. Now just chickens & goats -- meat & dairy.

Hang out with us. Many on here are "old folks" :old and loving it. A group of friendly, helpful, caring & knowledgeable people. We have some dedicated & farm serious youngsters, too.

Hahaha, not feeling so much in prime, with broken left wrist (full arm cast), and fractured palm/pinky on right, less than a week apart lol. Darn kids, who knew goat kids are as bad as our own hahaha.
