Hey all!
Just a little introduction...My name is Sharon, and I'm from Ohio. My family has a little farm where we have goats, a small herd of ancient horses, and various types of fowl (peafowl, chickens, ducks, guineas).
Our daughter is in 4H and raises and shows call ducks. She also shows her goats--Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy, although she's focusing more on the Pygmies, as they can be shown without having to be bred. Her show goats include 3 beautiful ND nannies, and two Pygmies--a wether and a doe. We are planning to purchase a third Pygmy for her, as soon as her baby is weaned. She is close to aging out of 4H, and she wants to show the Pygmies in open shows, as well.
I make and sell horsehair jewelry and coiled horsehair baskets in my spare time.
I should also add that we recently started with beekeeping, as well. Our daughter also did a project on them last year, and plans to continue the project this year. The kids had wanted to get bees for several years, and we finally took the plunge. It's been very exciting and rewarding, and I wish we had gotten started sooner!

I would love to hear and see also learn more about raising bees. That's awesome. We're glad to have you here
