Coffee anyone ?

Good morning. I looked up Texas Cup grass and I believe I have some or something so similar as to not matter. I’ve seen the buntings and finches eat the seeds. I miss having hollyhocks not only for their flowers but for the birds they attract. Japanese beetles (masquerading as dung beetles) eat my hollyhocks as fast as they sprout. Hot wire goes into place tomorrow. I’m done with the Traveling Wilburys. It’s the end of the line.
No beetles here. I actually have to constantly tear these out as they keep reseeding and taking over the entire yard! Crazy!
I love them, I do, especially as they have been mixing and producing new colors, but the seed is so viable it gets in every planter, in the lawn, everywhere and roots deeply! Really hard to pull out!

Those are just gorgeous!

Outside day, I'm done in! Put up about 200' of 4 strand hot wire to let goats cross/eat down part of back yard....to get to fenced side yard. I walked & walked! 😵‍💫 Anyway, it's hot & they're on in. Some kids from this yr had never touched any. They did today!! So, they'll get a couple hr of graze & test before heading to their barn for the night. Then, i'll close the gate to keep them out until tmrw. Needed the couple days at home to watch. I'll feel better when I leave for work knowing they know.

Scrubbed out some big water tubs, algae, filled clean, cold water. They'll love that. Was hot today. I'll water the lawn area along the newly placed hot fence to increase grounding for animals. I watered the ground rod well.

Tomorrow I'll get between house a wire mowed & cleared up. Next week, I'll mow this fenced area. We "might" get a few sprinkles wed/thu ish. Can use it!

Here's part of new up hot lines, then prior fenced side yard.
