No beetles here. I actually have to constantly tear these out as they keep reseeding and taking over the entire yard! Crazy!Good morning. I looked up Texas Cup grass and I believe I have some or something so similar as to not matter. I’ve seen the buntings and finches eat the seeds. I miss having hollyhocks not only for their flowers but for the birds they attract. Japanese beetles (masquerading as dung beetles) eat my hollyhocks as fast as they sprout. Hot wire goes into place tomorrow. I’m done with the Traveling Wilburys. It’s the end of the line.![]()
I love them, I do, especially as they have been mixing and producing new colors, but the seed is so viable it gets in every planter, in the lawn, everywhere and roots deeply! Really hard to pull out!
