I finally was able to find some NZ rabbits this week. I bought 2 does and one buck. So hopefully I'll have some new kits next month. They all look really nice and healthy. I'm hoping to find 2 more does from different lines soon to keep the gean pool as broad as possable.
Ive been wanting to breed meaties for a while now. So when I saw the add on CL I jumped on it.

It took me a while to find my rabitts also. I have NZW and Champine D Argent. I have 3 litters now and 2 on the way ( I think )
I butcherd 2 today, they were still a little smal but I wanted some rabit meat. GOOD STUFF.
My NZW buck is very friendly. My grandkids named him whitey, how ariginal! Oh well you let grand kids do what they want...

This heat is makeing one of my breeding does sick. She want eat. I want to bring her in the house but hubby would kill me! Lisa

LOL! Its kind of like that here. My wife wants to bring her favorite rabbits in the house. We had some in the house over the winter from time to time. The kids like them so I guess I cant say much....
I'm looking forward to our first home grown meaties.

Hi did you ever get your rabbit dinner?

I have not had any more litters since the 3 I told you about. I am very disapionted. I still have some to eat. But I want them to contiue to produce. I have people who want to buy some now and they want have any babbies!!! Lisa
