Chillin' with the herd
Hi,
I just joined because I heard BYC was going to be down for a few hours tomorrow. I saw a post that all of us BYC addicts were welcome here, and that was sure a nice thing to say!
I'm in Wisconsin.
We have a herd, I guess you could call it, of silkie chickens, two ducks, two dogs, three cats, two parakeets, two macaw parrots, and a chinchilla. We sometimes have a partridge in our peach tree too.
I grew up on a farm in Minnesota, though, and we raised pigs, Angus cows, and sheep we bought from Hubert H. Humphrey, if anyone remembers him. I'm old, so that was a long time ago.
Our neighbor across the road has many horses and donkeys, and a short distance away is a dairy farm, so if I ever miss the smells or visiting a few four-legged animals, I've been known to stop in.
