I'm hoping that my pumpkins ripen before it gets too cold. I have 2 that are still green but it's getting cold at night so fingers crossed.

@Baymule, my husband just came across a Facebook post about a horrible storm coming to Texas from Montana and going East. Are you being affected? Let me know because daggnabbit.

It isn't here yet. The weather app on my phone says that Saturday close to 2 inches of rain is expected. I guess I'll watch the weather on TV. A storm in Montana isn't the same once it gets to East Texas.

Just saw the weather report on Channel 13, ABC in Houston. All of the east Texas area and extending down to part of south Texas is under flood risk for Friday and Saturday. Predicted to 3 to 5 inches of rain that will come in waves. That probably means that the dirt road I live on will go under water. I have no plans for either day to go anywhere, so by Sunday, It should be drained off and I can go to church Sunday morning. Just a couple of miserable days. Thanks for the warning!

You're welcome. I seen that and told my husband that I was going to check on you because I knew you were in Texas. The story on Facebook says it's supposed to be icy and I was just like OH damn

Well now I’m meeting my daughter and family in Conroe Saturday at my sister’s house. But the rain amount is now 1-3 inches instead of 3-5 inches. That’s better!
