Question about Vaccines...

I gave my does the CD&T 4 weeks before they are due. But now I have read somewhere that I should give them one more before they kid.

So my questions are;

1. Should I do this?

2. What is the babies vaccine schedule if I do or don't do this.

I've never heard that. I give them one four weeks before kidding them the kids at 4 weeks, 8 weeks and some people do it again at 6 months.

You're only supposed to give another shot if they have never been given a CD/T before. The second would be the booster shot, 3-4 weeks later like it should say on the bottle. I've never heard of giving the shot again in such a short amount of time for any other reason.

We give our does CDT about a month before kidding.

But, we don't give to our kids until they are 12 weeks old, and a booster at 16 weeks.

Just what we do. We dam raise and they get immunity from the milk.

I did my kids at 6 weeks and 8 weeks. I figure at 4 weeks they should still have some protection from mom.
