Ya know, some days boring would be nice  some of my goats are considerate & patient. Others the opposite but endearing. Every day is different. The kids adorable and funny. Sheep? Cute but never had any. For sure, not a wooly for me.

I also find it relaxing to review people's posts at the end of a hard day...and I had one today! 😁

"The next milk you milk is for making soap" was said to me by a five year old today.
Okay, Shaun. We're going to make pink watermelon scented soaps in the shape of flowers just like you wanted them. I need some milk ice cubes!
Not that we're out of the last soap, but he found some cool molds he wants soap shaped like and I have 109 oz of rendered tallow from the beef we got sitting around and half a bottle of "watermelon sugar" fragrance oil so I guess we're doing it. (I voted for sand dollar and scallop soaps, but he won)

On a less positive note, I noticed a daughter of a doe that leaked (that I got rid of a while ago) is ALSO leaking, so the leak was genetic and not some kind of injury. She's been somewhat uneven for a while now. I guess I know why. I should probably let her and her little daughter-my only living Pepper daughter, I'm so disappointed-and the doe's sister should go too and let that whole line die to me. She's soft and supple, no edema to impede stretching. She's just leaking.
I wonder if it's time for me to learn to take things to auction. The sister is probably open but is due on the 17th so I'll wait until the end of the month I guess.

But regardless it's definitely time to make soap.

This is how Rachel hopefully fixes her basement flooding issues. Last night it rained cats and dogs and **knock on wood, please** nothing came in. That is a lot of stall mat and other rubber mat pieces.
