I let the DH go off and take the kids camping on a father son camp out. Come leaving time the weather radio alarm is going off every few minutes, the sky is lead and green, then the driving rain comes...and they leave. Normally I drive, but I'm a girl, so I stay home (and work on untrashing the house and just general introvert destressing time) So they got there an hour away, but DH hits a "stick" and damages the front of the mini van and is now worried about it leaking coolant and calls and tells me about it....That poor guy can't catch a break! Now I get to work on convincing him to get the body work done and fix our family mini van!

On a different note, An opportunity arose out of a herd I like. I favor the more balanced old style doe, but which one would you rather have a herdsire out of?

I favored the brown more old style doe and will probably be adding a herdsire from her to grow out at the end of the month, but now I'm doubting myself. The white one has a "40" for rear udder height, but less strength, but the brown is no slacker and l like her more compact, more balanced build...but here I sit doubting myself.

I hope these screenshots are allowed. I might see if I can delete pics later.

Don't doubt yourself. You said you like the brown better - but ------, get the brown.
Think of it like this -- you wait and it's no longer available (just pretend) and you beat yourself up over not getting her.
Enabler badge 101. ;) but there have been a lot of times I waited - indecision - and then beat myself up over it saying why didn't I .

Brown one!!! That's my choice....of course, you're looking for a kid, not the doe. Heck, I'd try to buy that doe! 🥰. I prefer the heavier, old style.

Same with Nubian and Boer.
The sire for both bucks kids is the same, so the choice is between the ladies. Thanks everyone, I appreciate the reassurance.
