He's not sorry.

I may already have a replacement for him. Someone was selling a more laid back buck. His pedigree is more diverse, but his sire is Rockin CB and the dam is welshan acres and Jen mae ka kids, with some Lucky*Star's, but most of all a known laid back temperament (and of course he also has an udder, so he can match the other mature lamancha boys present).
I'm serious now. No more jerks.

Ugh.
A while back our gray barn cats disappeared. I guess they ran out of rats and left and these cats specialized in big rats and rabbits. Just got a random call today. Somebody found them about a mile away across fields. They're alive, one is domesticated again. And the humans will probably "rescue"/keep or re-home them rather than return them to us because they are "outdoor" barn cats. Humans suck.

I could probably push the issue and take legal action (and still might), but the cats left us. Barn cats have to stay. Might not be worth my time, but man, that rubs-both the loss of the ratter and being judged unfit to have them back by a random human. Could totally be enough to push the principle and make them do the "right" (legal) thing. But it might cost the cat her life if she stupids again.
Torn.

:( and  - it's your cat. Probably was taken into that person's house on day 1 - might've come home if it could have back then.

Some people think a cat or dog, that has a job, is loved and well cared for cannot be so -- simply because they live in a family farm barn. 🙄🥴. Couldn't be further from the truth.

Bet they're vegan, too..😁

Guess I'm a bad caregiver...I'll ask what these 8 feral & 2 drops have to say as I feed them tonight. Not insiders, plenty of barns!
