Dan wants a pet wether.

.although if I can't figure out why my hands are losing circulation at night
Have you asked the doctors about carpal tunnel? Simple surgery to correct. 8 weeks recovery and some physical therapy to regain strength. My left wrist was first to get it. Building a barn and milking everyday. I was using a hammer and had so little grip it bounced off the nail and hit me in the forehead! I also was waking up at night with terrible pain in my neck and shoulders. When the doctor said it was carpal tunne in my wrist I told him he was wrong it was something in my neck! LOL

Right wrist went several years later but I recognized the symptoms. This time no pain in neck just hand went to sleep and had pins and needles consistently. Finally had surgery on that wrist too.

Go to the drug store and buy a wrist brace for carpal tunnel. It stabiizes your thumb and hand with a metal insert. Wear it at night for a month (and during the day if you are not using your hand) and see if it helps. I was able to put off surgery on the second wrist for a year or so using the brace. Try it and see if it helps your hands.

New bucks sound great!

Does it feel like electric hands?
I'll go find one and try it. I've had this since I was a teen to lesser degrees. It would get bad if I used my hands while cold and Iowa where I was a teen is COLD. I used to ace wrap my wrists under my sweatshirt until it would go away. Let's go brace shopping! If it does anything I'll talk to the doctor. Thanks!

I hope you are feeling better. I didn’t test myself but I’ve been sick over a week. I’m better now but still feeling blah. I didn’t think about it being covid. I’ve already had that crap 3 times.

I hope you continue to improve and get to feeling better with no lingering side effects.

Even though you know your fences are secure you have to take time to go check on all the livestock and dogs, just in case. And when the neighbors can't tell if it is a goat or sheep . . .
Too funny you post that -- this last weekend there was a FB post - someone posted a pic of "goats on the loose" ---
of course there were following posts that said poor goats, whose goats are they, ................. --- then I posted
"Those are not goats - they are Blackbelly Barbados SHEEP."
Turns out a pack of coyotes "helped" the sheep get out and at their ranch had a meal of one.

I empathize with the sheep in that equation.

Farmhouse improvement: Dh told me we should get under cabinet lighting so I did. I think the motion will add a fun element and distract from the mess on the limited counter space (and yes, why granite? Couldn't that money have been spent somewhere more logical? Like on hanging all the doors in the house properly? Or deeper drawers that can actually fit cooking utensiles? No, of course not.)

The boys heartily approve of my decor choices and have already made recommendations for the next ones.
