Not saying that German Shepherds don't cause trouble... BUT , we have had more problems with golden retrievers and huskies over the years than anything else... Pack mentality... and huskies will decimate chicken pens of chickens...
The owners are more to blame.....but the dogs need to be shot if they are caught doing anything... end of story.
Could be a regional thing - but then --- I never got goldens or huskies in for herding training 🙃, a Samoyed yes and was very nice (though I'm told they herd reindeer ). Definitely owners to blame, and of course most of them believe their dogs can and should be "free to roam".

We're still green, though I can see the beginning of the brown. Most people can't see it - but when I'm out there walking I see it. Trying to enjoy the color while it lasts.
