Will you shear her and find a use for the wool?
Yeah - I'll shear her and the CA Red ewe. I have friends who spin so I may gift them some, I've been messing around with needle felting so I may keep some as well. I'll actually have a someone who knows what they are doing shear them. The CA Red has a light beige wool.

Yesterday, after having to re-bake several pieces that went dog induced MIA we did the gingerbread houses.
Finding candy to decorate is not easy - I mean there are no DOTS, no gum drops, so oh well.
Mine still needs a little help - go with the flow - well - minimal at best. But hey the start of a new
tradition?!?!!

DDIL had a plan, found something online for the construction pieces. She is so creative and good at it.
This is her Mid-Century Modern gingerbread house.

Both are "drying" letting the icing turn into rock hard mortar. Hers will have to withstand the jarring ride down our dirt road --- for the house it will be quite the test of earth quake survivability!

Getting the barn and sheep ready for a long morning tomorrow. I've got a MOHS surgery? procedure? and need to be at the dr office by 7 AM. No idea exactly what I'm in for or how I'll be afterwards. Pretty much what I do know is it's a micro surgery/ removal of skin cancer. Of course on my face. Too much sun when I was young I'm told.

I've always thought spinning would be fun. My son in law has been doing some needle felting. He's really enjoying it.

I love them, they are both so cute!

My husband had MOHS done on his ear. They keep removing a tiny amount at a time until the edges are clear. It can take several hours, mostly waiting in between while they check what's been removed. His poor ear was bandaged up for weeks. The Dr did an amazing job when stitching it all back together, you can hardly tell. Hopefully your area is very small. :hugs

Thank you! Mine is just below my lower lip. Fingers crossed it's quick and easy.
I've got that Advent Calendar from Sheepishly Me - there are quite a few simply easy needle felt things - here are a few of them so far.....

No great shakes on my part - but quick 10 minute little fun things. I'm getting better, and even better not stabbing my finger as much!!

I hope it goes quickly too and the area is small!

Those are so fun! 💞 Stabbing your fingers, not so much, ouch. I might have to try it sometime, hopefully not stabbing my fingers, just the wool...lol

MOHs is no big deal. Hubs has had at least 10 of them. Face, arm, leg, back and more on the face. The drs are so good at it now.

Hubs is now officially starving. He's getting his fifth colonoscopy tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. Now that procedure saves lives!!
