I like the shape of the hindquarters on the St Croix. Not thrilled with his closed chest....forequarters from the front picture. And no, they do not have the same growth rate as the others. I am not overly fond of the dark colored ram... 2532? Don't like the hindquarters from the top picture... could be the way he is standing.
2520 white one looks better balanced . But pictures are hard to judge...if they are not "posed"...

The clouds parted and her sheep came and stood at the pasture fence below so she could see them before she closed her eyes for the last time.

Thanks guys. It's been a rough day.
It was foggy and heavy clouds this morning. I asked God for some sunshine for Lumen. Put the sheep in the pastures and we waited for the vet to come. As I got Lumen situated on a blanky, the clouds broke in an area just big enough to put warm sunshine on her and the sheep stood at the pasture fence just below where Lumen was. They never do that - they always go to the far pasture to start. Not today. As she closed her eyes and drifted into the deep sleep before the final med, the sheep walked away into the far pasture. When she was gone, the clouds returned. 😢

I'm so glad it was a peaceful passing and that you were there with her. She was such a lucky girl to have you for her person, you gave her, her best life and she gave you unconditional love. Still, I know how your heart is breaking. Praying that God gives you comfort and peace, just like He brought you and her the sunshine.🫂
