Some things just make my heart smile. Obi loves lambs - first trip to the barn this morning and he's peeking in even before me. ❤️❤️

Congratulations on the triplet beautiful spotty GIRLS!! What a fantastic surprise! :love :love :love

You may need to keep momma and trips up for a few weeks so you can feed her extra and she doesn't have to fight for it. Put the feed in a pan or one of those black rubber tubs. Then the babies can reach it and will start eating the feed sooner. The last set of triplets I had, I kept them up for over a month before turning them out on the field with the others. Lambs were eating feed and hay and did great.

And all of them.................

Weight check and they all gained weight!!!
Mama Cap is getting lots of extra food -- in the bunk alfalfa and in pans pellets and cracked corn. She's getting partial to the easy stuff in the pans. And a nice pile of broken up alfalfa on the ground for all. The littles are already gumming the alfalfa.
Other ewes are still hold outs of course. Looking like possibly B-Day lambs for me tomorrow :idunno

Happy early birthday!💞 Hope you get lambs and everything goes well! Or would you rather they hold off until the next day?
