I told Moses “don’t start nothin’ won’t be nothin”. Funny the same lamb was following Caddo and the mom ignored it completely. He hasn’t worked sheep in months but they know him. He’d be a good mentor except for all his walkabouts. And he’ll take Moses or any other dog with him. He’s smart enough to get home but I worry the others aren’t.

Moses doesn’t know the difference between afterbirth and a lamb. While not a good thing at least I know what the issue is.

@Baymule forgive me for not remembering but do you let your LGDs have afterbirth? I have heard arguments both w but have always allowed the canine clean up. Plus I thought that the sheep hormones going thru the dog made the ewes more accepting of their presence.
