Apparently there are pigs that grow wool like sheep!!!

They are great and there is a place in the uk that is helping to raise as many as poss to try and prevent these guys from going extinct just like the Lincolnshire Curly Coated did 40 years ago

Just immagine one of these after a nice wallow and the mud dries... more like an armadillo. Also one will have extra labor in scrapping off all of that hair at slaughter time. I'll pass on this one.

I emailed a breeder of these pigs. Prices:
50# Feeder pigs would be $260/head, ex-works Iowa.
100# Breeding stock is $3000/head, ex-works Iowa.
