Depends on where your located. As far as 4h though, you can show just about whatever. In Texas there's lots of small "practice" shows and its really about the kids. Even though the "big dogs" are there, everyone is happy to have the kid with the pasture lamb out there doing it all for the right reasons. Side Box Warning: Showing and competitiveness can become addicting! LOL!

Good point, here, I have great looking sheep but we don't have any contest for that, sad right?
