Take her temperature. She may need antibiotics. Sheep dont lay down for long periods unless they arent feeling well.

x2. Nutri-drench is also a good idea.

Also check the color of the inside of her lower eyelids, and her gums. Are they red? dark pink? pink? pale pink? white? The lighter the color, the more anemic she is, usually due to worms. Just because they were wormed earlier this year doesn't necessarily mean they are ok till fall. They could have been wormed with the wrong amount, or the worms could have been resistant, or they could have picked up more worms than that sheep's system could handle. I am dealing with worms in a lamb right now and I am hoping I caught them in time. I will be checking mine more often now.

Agree with everything people have said here...just wondering...did you check her teeth? Granny may be older than you think?

If it is worms, that you can treat...hoping she'll improve soon!!!
