A terrible thing happened on Thursday. A truck and livestock trailer headed towards the ADGA National Show in Louisville, KY crashed on the MA turnpike. The truck flipped and seperated from the trailer. The trailer slid down an embankment. We have not been able to find out all of the details.

Thankfully, none of the people were hurt, but if I understand correctly, the goats did not fair as well. Again, I don't know all of the details as to how many were hurt or killed.

It was from Rosasharn one of the premier Nigerian Dwarf Breeders in the country.

Please keep Ann Peterson, her family, and all of their animals in your prayers.

I know the news article stated that one doe died at the scene, and had photos of quite a few animals that looked to be in good shape in vehicles and crates. Of coarse it also said they were headed to a "fair" so it may not be very accurate.

Prayers for Ann. I can't imagine how horrible this made what was supposed to be an exciting trip.

We read that too. We are trying to get some more details from some other breeders.
