I don't even know what a pimento is.

The red part of a "stuffed" green olive. You can buy just that part in a jar. LOL It was my favorite part of the olive when I was a kid.

My mom bought pimento cheese, I never liked it. I learned how to make it, which was much better, and I liked it. An old lady taught me how.

Was friend requested on FB by a childhood through college friend this week. I thought great we can catch up. Accepted the friend request. She replied that she was sorry she contacted me it was an accident. She was looking for an article and reached several people she hadn’t intended to. Gee. Thanks. Kinda crap considering she’s a psychologist.

Actually I think I’m annoyed at myself for not quick frosting her with an arch comment. “Oh, how perfectly awkward for you to have to backpedal especially since you’re busy saving the Democracy.” (She did take time to crow about her politics and how busy they kept her). Out of respect for her parents who were truly decent people, I was polite and cheerful. Dang manners.
