Hubbs update. He brought home a delicious lunch and apologized. His job was a bit of a hairball this week and he got a case of micromanagitis. I have caught that too. I took time today to take a breath and be thankful that I have my spouse, food to shuffle around and a spare Frigidaire (named Jack). I’m a little less enthused about the survival rate of the bugs who seem largely unaffected by my efforts. They may be getting in through… the range vent. Dang I’ll bet that’s it and I didn’t think to raise it and leave it running so bomb fumes could saturate the exhaust duct. Bwah ha ha I’ve got them now!

So Vladinia took a few scam calls as it’s open enrollment for Medicare. This week I started getting ads on multiple platforms in Ukrainian. On one hand, creepy that my phone calls are being surveilled. On the other my Ukrainian accented English fooled somebody or something.

I had visitors who brought those little cockroaches with them. They had a population explosion. I called an exterminator and for $125, they were annihilated. My son had to tell me how to reach the exterminator.
Go to that honky tonk outside of Apple Springs, there’s a liquor store next to it. Go in the liquor store and tell her you want the exterminator. The liquor store looked like a portable building, not like the large spacious liquor stores in cities, just kinda small and blink and you miss it. The lady in the liquor store took my name and number. A few days later I got a call, we set an appointment and father/son showed up. No more bugs.
