I dont have a "herd" or a barn
Mr. Goat has ben here since? April 15th, is quite social, looks to where we are when we are outside and gets very upset when DH walks the dog to get the mail, Goat screams for them to come back,, Goat wants to go. I haven't taken him out of the field at all yet. I wanted him to acclimate and not know he can get out of the field.

@Mini Horses said give him a couple big comfrey leaves, 2X a week. 😂 Pull some dandelions for him too. Oregano, fresh or dried for a few days....that'll clear inflammation.
:caf
I was going to cut him a pine sapling today
I read about Meat Maker
Our well water has a lot of iron
I need to go to town on Monday and planned to stop at Tractor Supply cuz its closer than Wilco
:cafI have given him a hand full at a time of oregano like 3 times, he like it, I’ll see if he likes comfrey, it’s up now

Mr Goat has a good home.
He definitely looks better than when Son brought him over. I havent washed him yet.
We went out Sunday evening and took his house apart,
used deck screws to hold it better. He was rubbing the wall and pushing it to hard on the walls, Its all better now.
Goat acted like a puppy, investigating everything we were doing, sniffing the drill and "helping".
He did like the comfrey I gave him, I gave him a small pine, he nibbled a little and went to the grass.
He didnt eat it- tues. I cut him some new growth alder saplings, nope didnt eat them.
He liked the flowers on the evergreen huckleberry bushes, and the blackberry leaves-
he has eaten quite a bit of the field in just 2 weeks.

He wags his tail when I talk to him, He id defiantly happier and better off

Well over the last three days Mr GOAT has wanted to be brushed. He actually has stood still and let me brush his legs and tummy and just all over. I now think he is going through a serious shedding.
When I was in town yesterday I went to TS and got the small bag of loose meat maker goat minerals/ salt etc.
He loved it!!
The grandboys road their bikes over yesterday and Goat was glad to see them.
He wagged his tail. The boys said he definitely looks happier.

So, Mr. Goat will get a good brushing each day until all the undercoat is gone.
