It's a hoot to hear it in person of what is next. Something about cooking videos for the reason on all the changes and oddball kitchen design. Funny how people shape their lives around others to entertain them.

He is a plumber himself as he sells himself to be, yet only installed stuff such as hot water heaters, faucets, sinks etc etc. Like calling yourself a doctor but only did dental. Electrical is going in by code, nope you can't go there with electrical, it violates the 12, 6 and 2 rule (BTW that translates to the items you buy in the store has a 6' cord at minimum so you can plug it in anywhere in the house to be of use.) Lastly, nope not going to do it, nope nope and hell no, I don't do drywall. Pine board siding up, paneling anything but drywall.
Why don't you do drywall?

I destroyed the inside of my doublewide, ripping out all the trim, taping off and covering with plastic everything I didn't want sprayed. Sprayed everything with Kilz, the ceiling with white paint, then taped, floated, textured and painted. @Ridgetop and her husband were here for some of that, he and I did tape and float, while she put vinyl in the cabinets. I don't mind doing the tape, float and texture. I even went and helped a friend tape and float his house a couple of years ago.

I totally hate and despise those cutesy tiny prints on the plastic covered drywall in mobile homes.

Several years ago, after I sold the farm in Lindale and moved to my son's house that needed everything, I hired a guy to fix it. I told him I was his helper and don't be afraid to tell me what to do. We worked well together, I stayed out of his way and managed to get a lot done by working around him. We did inside and outside. There was no soffit under the eaves of the house, why there was no family of raccoons living in the attic, I don't know. I painted all the boards before he put them up, much easier than painting overhead.

Do mobile homes still have little plastic flowers on the ceilings, the ones that help anchor the screws?
