Yeah, take a rest for awhile. Building a house is a big project. Once you get started, you’ll burn the candle at both ends and twice in the middle.

I have noticed you pour corn on the ground. My pigs always loved the water that I soured the corn in and slurped that up first before eating the corn. You are losing nutrients and yummy water. Not criticizing, just pointing out something you might not have thought of.

I don’t want to move to Montana. That Yellowstone show is ok to watch, but too much fantasy to be real life. Hasn’t anyone noticed that they never film in the winter????
There is another show, Yellowstone Wardens, about the game wardens. It’s a little more realistic. Kinda screwy, there is open hunting land, next to private land, no fences, not marked, hunters are supposed to “know” where they are. That sh!t wouldn’t fly in Texas, we fence and mark our land, if nothing else, paint trees and posts with the “no trespassing “ purple paint.
Hunters get permits to hunt certain places and not supposed to cross the boundaries. See the above, no fences, no markers. Some places are fenced, but that’s not good TV, show the dummies getting citations for being in the wrong place.
One sequence showed an elk herd running across a field, hunters in pickup trucks chasing them down the road, passing each other, game warden in the melee, elk jumped the fence, crossed road, jumped other fence, trucks pulled over and a madhouse of hunters blazing away.

Another thing -- in case you don't already know -- pigs can't sweat. So hot summer they need a cool, wet wallow. Here in the south, we actually ran a sprinkle for ours during heat of day. They loved it!! And the mud in a waller keeps bugs off them, also.
As to coming to you -- you are the feeder, the giver. They respond to that. We teach them to come to call, reward with feed -- and thank ourselves for that training anytime they break out an need to come home

Because you are not geared to be still, sit and wait to die. Life is for living and you have done a whole lot of that but you can’t just stop and quit. You are putting your knowledge to use, doing things that you want to do. If it works, great! If it doesn’t, move on to the next wild hair that tickles you.
