GOOD DEAL... The great thing is you can do any type of repairs it needs.... that is a really good price...Picked it up today for $1k about 350 miles away.
Funny thing is it was sunk up to the axles in mud it had been sitting so long, no tail lights worked and two tires on the side are split as in tread coming off from weathering. Yanked it out of the mud and didn't stop till I got home. Was told little weather checking on the tires, not split, lights worked last time used them, wires shredded in few spots and part of a plug for them. Wasn't worth the risk blowing my truck fuses out trying to plug it in.GOOD DEAL... The great thing is you can do any type of repairs it needs.... that is a really good price...
Looks like it is in pretty good shape on the outside....
Winter project, heh more of lets run it till a wheel falls off or blows out, that's the local ways.I will fix the lights, that's a day project when snowing, patch a few holes and send it.That trailer will make a great winter project.
Ran when parked... is the famous words I always see looking at anything with an engine. It's like yep, let me factor in how much more is one already running worth since a day of my time is at least $600 that I would lose trying to fix it.Lights probably did work and sitting with critters to get to them would not help... and how long was it sitting??? "They ALWAYS worked when it was parked..." famous last words...
Yep, good project for you.... wires do get caught up on stuff if they run underneath... we finally ran wires for lights in a pipe along the top outside of our cattle trailer... so that they would not get chewed on or drug off underneath... mice seem to HAVE to chew on them too....
