We can't weigh and label and sell meat here that way so I really have no suggestions for you.

If you are looking at new... Try A and A scales out of NJ.... Have had people tell me their livestock scales are very good... so looking at one for our barn to weigh cattle... but they advertise all kinds...

A legal for trade 6olb scale for $190 plus a 3" label maker for $36 that you can use for other things. That is setup we use at work.

Kinda have to laugh (sort of not really or perhaps in pain) as most anything livestock related is $$$+ -- they all must think those who raise the livestock are rolling in $$$$$
