update! she is now tagged, banned, and has been vaccinated. and an update about me I fractured my foot so getting around is quite a bit harder now as you would assume lol. but the farm is good we need to start the garden. but dolly is getting bigger should she be? only a month and 1/2 in.so I'm confused. could she have multiple and that's why she's so big because there's no way she was bred any earlier?

Pretty much right away.

The kids nurse right off.

At first her production is low... but just right for the kids... and then it increases over the next weeks.

By week 2 or 3 it is easy to have kids on the doe and milk for the house.

If the doe has just kidded, and does NOT have milk...then something is wrong.

My first thought would be retained kid... retained part of placenta... infection... fever.... something bad...
