Eventually found this girl, limping. Fml...




11 of 15 ewes have now lambed.
2 Babydolls and 2 fiber mutt ewes left to wait on.

A day old and infested! Mom, too!
No sign on the lamb, picked it up to band tail and...maggots on the clean anus. Start fly spraying and...BOOM, flies pouring out of the wool all over the back end, out of vulva!! Actually out of the inside of the body!
Fly spray mom, as she's depressed, MAGGOTS!
Next time anyone notices me trying to breed for late lambs, shoot me!! Literally!

No new lambs to report. Mowed. Can't hide no more!

How many sheep were trying to use this for shade?
2 were in the dip from a culvert pipe, smart. Rest were morons. There's enough shade for 1 sheep...
Cut it all down, as I don't need them dying of idiot induced heat stroke! There's a great tree line to use!

How is that shade?




No new lambs to report. Others are all growing. That fly strike pair, mom seems to be refusing to graze, so she's on hay.

Cleaned up the trash bits after a break. Just standing outside makes you sweat gallons!
Opened up the other side if the barn so they can spread out some.

Currently, it's doesn't look like the final 4 are pregnant. So, lambing season may be over.
