I have two bucklings and Momma goat together. At times she doesn't want to nurse and other times she will. We are learing as we go.
My question is.... when we wean them I have to put them in a different area to sleep and play or they will keep trying for milk.
Then I want to castrate them and eventually reintroduce them to live in the same goat house as the mom and share a paddock. How old or weened do they have tobe before they dont try and get her milk?

How old are your babies? Your moma is trying to wean them herself. She will slowly cut back on the amount of milk they get. Are you planning on milking her? If not then I would just let her take care of weaning them. You can castrate them and leave them with her and let nature take its course.

I would castrate ( band) at 8 weeks it gives it time to grow. Sounds like she is weaning a little so make sure they have hay and grain to eat too.

They were born thursday night. And we want to milk her. We wonder if she has sensitive nipples or something. But also how long after weened can I put then back together without them trying for milk

At two weeks you can separate at night and milk in the morning the kids have all day to eat. That way it gets her used to milking too. If she is pushing away right now I would check her for sores and or hard lumps and hot spots she may have a problem. I hope this helps.

Thanks my wife thought she felt warm spot and hard spot so we've been trying to massage and milk it out a couple times per day. Any other suggestions

As u can see in youtube clip above the twins and mom are doing fine now...
It was one tit that was hot and wife and I kept working it out a few times per day.
It seemed after watching she was only pushing boys off if they grabbed the right tit.
Anyways we cleared it out and both nipples are same size and not hot to touch.
All is well.
