What am I..

I have a couple of little goats that im not really sure what they are...the doe was sold to me as a Nigerian dwarf and the buck was sold to me as a pygmy....im wondering if this is right or if they are mixed of both and the people just didnt know there was a difference.
doe aprox 2yo 22.5 inches tall
buck 1yo aprox 19 inches tall

The doe looks like a ND.
Buck looks like a pygmy ND cross.

I think @frustratedearthmother used to raise and show Pygmies... And I know @OneFineAcre is a Nigie guru... Maybe they could help?

Doe looks Nigerian
Buck looks more Nigerian than Pygmy to me. Maybe cross, but he is more angular and fined bone than a Pygmy would be.

Agree with OFA - I don't see Pygmy when I look at that buck. Could possibly be a cross perhaps, but if so the pygmy didn't likely meet breed standards.

I thought the buck had colors associated with pygmies... But not built like one.

If his leg markings were more visible it would be easier to tell. Pygmies have specific leg markings that are associated with the caramel coloration and I can't see that on him.

But he definitely is not built like a pygmy.
