What should I do?

So for the BeefBuilder program you show the calf and you have to do a poster about Beef or Dairy I am doing mine on dairy and I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on what I could do it can be on a breed or anything that has to do with dairy cows

Hi. Exactly what are you supposed to do??? You could focus on the "dairy half" of your show animal; you could focus on the dairy industry, all the products that milk is in... how things have changed in the last 50 years... from milking in tie stall/stanchion barns, to parlors, to rotary operations, to robots... you could focus on the contribution of cross breeding dairy animals to beef animals and how the off spring contribute to the beef production in this country... and how those animals actually make exceptional beef ... flavor and also leaner than some of the straight beef animals...

I am doing it on something with dairy it can be a breed or really anything that has to do with dairy cattle. my sister did her board on that last year

Do a little research on both, decide for yourself which one is more interesting to you.

I believe that will be an interesting project for the visitors to see. You're a farm girl but, so many people have NO IDEA what is involved in farming, how it happens, why, etc. Eye opener for sure.
