I am also new at this and will be worming my sheep for the first time. I noticed that one of the lambs has a "sac" on his jaw ... possibly bottle jaw? He is only 2 months old and didn't plan on worming him yet. What is the youngest you should worm lambs? and if it is bottlejaw would worming him now be advisable?

Double check to make sure it is bottle jaw and not a milk goiter.

Bottle jaw is a sign of a very severe worm infestation so YES, deworm this lamb as soon as you can.

Thank you SheepGirl for your reply!I did check out milk goiter and it does appear to be this and not bottle jaw. My lamb is a hair lamb and apparently they do tend to get this .. Thank you so much for your info. I am still going to deworm in the next day or so.
