Hi, new to posting here. Sorry if I’m posting in the wrong forum.

I recently got a mini rex buck and he’s living with my 9 year old doe. The buck is 3mo old. The doe used to mount him (which I believe is normal with bonding rabbits?). But I noticed she isn’t doing that and yesterday her behaviour changed slightly.

Is it possible he was able to breed her at 3mo old?
I’m not interested in breeding rabbits, so I’m just worried I won’t get him fixed in time. She’s pretty old too.

Yes, it is possible that he bred her, she could now be pregnant.

Super cute bunny photo.

Generally with rabbits, once you can see testicles he's fertile.
Flip him over and look.

I usually see this starting around weeks 14-16 personally.

Edit: At nine years old your doe would be unlikely to conceive; if she did, the litter would probably be 1-2 kits.
