Okay, I have a new question. I have a first generation (non-registered) Mini Nubian Doe. I bred her to a Registered (TMGR) Mini Nubian Buck. I had thought of registering her and the babies through IDGR or TMGR. Is there a preference of registry to go with? I've recently (this week) inherited the buck that I bred my doe to, along with two more Mini Nubian does and a LaMancha doe, from my husband's cousin who can no longer care for them. The does are not registered either, although they could be registered NOA. I'm just at odds with what registry I should go with. I've been wanting to start breeding them (the Mini Nubians), but have just been sitting on my hands and somewhat "experimenting" with breeding my doe (which has two beautiful little F2 babies now :), one of which we are keeping). Now that I have these new guys, what registry should I go with?? Any Mini breeders out there with some insight for me on this? Also, I have them in a small pen right now, I have seven acres to work with and want to build a small "mini dairy" type place for them, any suggestions???
Thanks,
Terra :)

I use the MDGA...dunno that it matters which you use. They're both small, but fine. I just wasn't willing to join two registries for the Minis when I might have 8 babies a year...so I went with the one that hadn't been having financial issues.

:/ I wasn't aware that one did have financial issues, EEK.... Maybe I should look into MDGA instead. We won't have that many babies a year to register either. I'm thinking very small scale, mini... mini dairy :)
