I posted a question,but never got a response...so I am gonna try again. Has anyone ever but blankets on their alpacas when it's really cold?? I blanket my horses when it's below -10. thinking I may need to do the same for the alpacas.. they come in the barn at night, but planned on leaving them out during the day...they do have shelter

minus 10 is cold ...I have llamas and do not blanket them but here in NC it will not get that cold. So on the coldest days it might be a good idea to blanket them. Watch for impacted ice in the hooves.
