Hi friends
I have a young nigerian dwarf whether who Is around 6 months old.
He Is a doll, my sidekick.
Recently he has started breathing as if he has a stuffy nose as well as occasional sneezing. Sometimes he sneezes quite a few times in a row.
His appetite seems Normal, no snot or discharge from his nostrils.
His lungs sound clear despite the fact that he sounded like my asthmatic daughter after a sneezing fit he had.
He has had some minor eye drainage/boogers but not consistently and it wasn't a significant color. Just average eye boogers.

No coughing, no change in energy or appetite. He is by my side literally 24/7 so I would notice any changes even if they were minor.
He sleeps inside, hangs out inside, potties outside, and sometimes spends his time on my front porch eating his hay

One small difference I noticed was that he was suddenly very very interested in his minerals, whereas in the past he barely cared about them.

Is this likely an allergy or irritant? Can anyone recommend the best course of action?

Thats what I'm hoping, I've just been worried it could be something more serious.

He's my first goat, and I've been a little overwhelmed with each Google search I've done. 😅

To add. I did not get him with the intent for him to be more of a house pet than a farm animal. He was given to me by someone who couldn't care for him properly, and has been so attached to me from day 1 that he doesn't think he can be outside without me 😅 he does have a goat friend in the works, so hopefully he can learn he can survive outside without me.

That's alright,it can be nerve racking.I love my NDG's
The first week I had him he got bloat at 3am on a Saturday night from stealing a few bites of my kids' cereal. Ever since then he's had me on edge a bit.

They are wonderful! I never realized just how smart and emotionally in tune they could be.
