Coffee anyone ?

Gas here at one station had gone from 3.25 a couple days ago, to 3.55 today... the station next door was still 3.25 so I filled up... but they had a tanker come in so I expect it will go up once they get a new load into their tanks...
Inflation is still up so no break on the prime rate today... stock market down over 400 points for the day... and the current "person with the title" of president, even though he is not capable of doing anything, is still trying to say how much inflation is down..... from a year ago???? How about from 4 years ago when he took over and made a total mess of everything...

More rumblings of war situations with Russia and Ukraine and other bordering countries...many other countries are not happy... Hungary... also Denmark( I think that's who I heard) has just reinstated mandatory "registration"... meaning service... in their military now....men and women....

And gee, the dumba$$ in the white house said that he might be able to "sign an executive order" to stop some of the excessive border crossings.....

At 3.55 there’d be a huge line here. 5.69 is around the going rate. I’m with ya’ on the rest of it.
 
CA is expensive!! Everything -- housing, food, gas. 😳🥴

So the western and the southern storm fronts are meeting here -- today! Y'all are so generous, sending this rain my way 😐 thanks but, no thanks. I'm trying to garden! This rain is not fine 🥴 wet dirt!!

Working today, starting later for short day. Loading barn hay racks this morn, so won't need to haul it to outside feeders in rain & winds for evening feed. 👍 That will be nice.

Right now -- just coffee time 😋 and liking that I have no big resets today, just light stuff to work through. Relaxing. Need to get out there to chores, load up racks & move 10 bags of feed to bins. No days "off" on a farm. 👍 😉 Watching 15-20 kids scampering in unison makes it fun. 🥰
 
Today we take Boone to town and leave Fen to howl because there is a bitch in heat on the ranch 😖

My L shoulder is all torn up. It’s the one that has sustained the most damage over my lifetime and has had more surgeries to repair. I just hope it’s strain and not another tear, but it’s been hurting for a week with no improvement.

TheMan complained bitterly that my alarm woke him night before last. I have to take pain meds every 4 hours around the clock or there is no hope of functioning. He is taking Tylenol every 4 until they remove shunt if he needs it.
Since he complained, I moved to living room so as not to wake him. At 2 he came out in pain wanting to know why I didn’t wake him to take his Tylenol.

Maybe some brandy in the coffee would not be a bad idea 😳
 
Sorry to hear all that Petey.
Went for a run just now. Got kicked by my horse on Monday afternoon, and he got my leg enough for it to hurt and for me to take a couple day break from running.
Got gas for 3.09 yesterday. Thats pretty much about the regular rate around here now, most places its 3.29, which compared to California, I won't complain.
Headed down to Denver after class and heading out to KY for another marathon.
