Every time I start a reply here, I never seem to finish!

Not to be nosy... but where you in the Katonah/Bedford Hills area of NY ?... I was born and raised in Stamford CT and we drove through that area all the time, through the back way to go through Ridgefield to Danbury and to where I lived in Newtown CT.... It is pretty up there... but I have gotten much more used to the more "openess" here in Va even though I am in the Shen Valley against the Blue Ridge Mtns...
Sure can not afford to live up in that area nowadays....And I do not miss the "rush" of life up there... but I do miss not having as much "water"... lakes and ponds and running streams, that we had up there...

The "ponies" look to be enjoying the transition to spring... I know our cattle here are liking it. They are out looking for any green blade of grass they can find.. and scratching at their winter coats.....besides all the calves being born.
I lived in Newtown at one point so I know that area well! That was where my horse obsession really took hold...started taking lessons etc. A long time ago now. Used to go to Stew Leonard's in Danbury! Such a great place.
Family lives just south of Albany though.

We have been busy. Just finished our first CDE and it was so much fun! Took Fonzie and Amigo because there is nothing like jumping in with two!

Funny how we overlap places. Went to Stew Leonards a few times... but it was down in Norwalk or somewhere down further south... I was moved out of the area by the time they got the Danbury place built. Still, A huge place to go shop and prices were pretty good way back then.
The roads/signs in your pic made me think of Bedford hill area ...

Looks like you have been busy and the horses look GOOD. Glad you are enjoying the season, but I am sure you are as hot and miserable this past week or so as we are here in VA.

Do you ever do any competitions at the Lexington VA Horse center... ????
