My plumbing got roto rootered. He found 3 polyps, one less that three years ago. I'll know from a lab report in a couple of days whether they are bad polyps or not to be concerned ones.

Evidently I tried to sit up during the 20 min procedure and asked to see the monitor to see what was going on!!! The NP who was doing the anesthesia added a touch more to get me to stop trying to watch!! Dang it all...

I had no medicine. Just an OTC Magnesium Citrate on Sat nite, then the box of two jugs of liquid you drink at 6 p.m. and then again 4 hours before your procedure. Cleans you out quite rightly!!:ep

LOL - trying to sit up and watch!!! Though I have to laugh because I tried to watch before the drugs kicked in - I think they upped the knock out one at the start. The rest of the day I slept like a rock at home. First time I had one I was back to regular life as soon as I got home. Moral of the story - don't try to watch!! :ep

Good morning! Sitting on front porch on second cup of coffee. Another cloudless scorcher today. I’m gonna mow a little, almost out of diesel.

Y’all prepare for the hurricane, hopefully you won’t need it. This is a big storm. For us BYH’ers that means stock up on animal feed and make sure we can water them.
Storms and lockdown type issues are why I got rain barrels. I have two out by the coops that aren't under downspouts. They collect some rainwater, but I top them off with the hose. Then I have four I can use as non potable water, can boil and filter in an emergency.

I had one. I couldn't finish the prep, I was so nauseated. I slept for the entire procedure.

With hurricanes we get winds, rain, and sometimes tornadoes. No flooding in our neighborhood as we're not by inlets or rivers, and our house is on a little rise. My worst fear is trees coming down. Since moving here we lost three but thank God they fell away from the house. That's why I had to replace some of the fence.

Sometimes I cannot adequately express my contempt for how people are treated. My hospital, my employer, used to be good. I would highly recommend them. They're nothing but a business, now, and a poorly run one.

I got a phone call with just the hospital name on it. I let it go to voicemail. VM said to call the "business office", which means they want more money for Ron's hospital stay NINE MONTHS AGO. So I called the number, was put on hold with music, no identification like "You've reached ###, your call is important..." So after about 30 seconds I hung up and tried again. Same result. In my opinion that's an example of rotten customer service. You can't at least identify your business, or pretend to care about the phone call?

Be honest, am I overracting?

Heck no! You are not overreacting -- IMO that's just plain rude and I'm putting it nicely. There seems to be a huge lack of respect these days and it's not getting better.

Thanks.

BTW, I probably reacted more strongly because of my current history with them. About 4 months after Ron died in the hospital I called "billing", and told them that all the little bills I was receiving had no details. I requested a final ITEMIZED bill for all his visits. They sent one. I paid it. And they keep sending more, additional charges, like $58 for a pill.

On his last visit he was supposed to just get comfort care. The ER doc said he was going to send him for an x-ray and I exploded NO! He was dying, the hospice said he didn't need treatment or diagnosis, just meds to calm him.

I got the bill. They took an x-ray.
:rant :rant:rant

I'm not paying one more penny.
