Any meat tenderizer with papain (papaya extract) should take the sting out when applied as a paste. It’s not immediate. I was stung by some very irate wasps (grabbed a hidden nest while gardening- genius move) and it barely worked but I’ve had good results with honeybee stings.
Thank you! I had not heard this one. Do you know if it helps with the itching?

What a fun time you all are having. 💞Can't wait to hear about today's shenanigans! 💗💗💗

Today we went to Lufkin for nasal spray for middle granddaughter. Came back, baked a cake. Girls binged watched Nicolodeon kid shows. I made 7 minute frosting and we frosted the cake. Went to a small community in the county to volunteer at a food distribution. It’s the second one. I explained it to the girls, they played in the community center. I helped bag groceries and put the bags in the cars and trucks.
When we got home, we face timed the parents, sang happy birthday over the cake and she blew out the candle.

Good morning all! It's so quiet on here. 🙂Not a lot going on at our place today. It's supposed to hit 104° today and 101° tomorrow and that should be the end of our triple digit days. September into October brings beautiful weather. After the next 5 days the temps will drop into the 80's & upper 70's. I do love our fall weather, but I don't like too much winter, a little is okay...lol. We definitely experience all 4 seasons.
Time for tea! Have a beautiful day! 💗

The tenderizer denatures the venom. I don’t know about itching. I think you are on the right track with Benadryl.
Thank you. I was stung again last night, I didn't have a chance to pick up any tenderizer to try yet. I did however use Benadryl and I also took an antihistamine. So far this doesn't seem as bad as my other stings. Thinking the antihistamine knocked it down.

Tea just tea for me this morning. Light chores, no scours or bottle jaws. Vala is asleep after a morning of tearing around. Think I’ll try her in an empty pasture today. I want to set her up for success on recalls, hard with an LGD I know. Lo 90’s for the high, summer is not quite done. Have a great day everyone. :weee

We took 2nd place in the tournament yesterday, it was so much fun!

I took an antihistamine for my bee stings yesterday afternoon and slept for about 2 hours. I never take naps and if I do, I can't sleep at night. Well, I slept like a log last night. The stings had been keeping me awake from the itching. I definitely needed the extra rest.

Now I need tea!🫖🍯🫙☕
We have those really aggressive wasps here. I found that Lavender EO fixes it right up, though meat tenderizer works too. I pull the lavender in a little roll on bottle and used to carry it in my pocket

Gizmo and Boone woke me up early this morning so I made my own coffee. (TheMan is sweet and brings it to me because mornings are difficult for me)
