That's looking great and it's a lot of work.

I didn't catch it with my phone camera, but Wisp kept putting her head in the block openings.

I actually like stacking blocks, if I can get my DS to bring them over, close by.

I'm planning on filling the block openings, maybe with pebbles, then dirt. Also, I can cap the top with 2x8x16 blocks, so I can sit on the edge. It would make it easier to reach the middle!

How nice, that is going to look so good and no more rotting boards. You cat looking at the chicken wire wrapped around the bed reminded me of my garden in Livingston. The lady next door was a cat hoarder and fed over 60 feral cats in her driveway every day. She had so many in the house that it was a health hazard. Her sons finally came down from Oklahoma and cleaned it all up, emptied the house, it was rented, and took her home with them. But living next to a cat hoarder was awful. The cats used my garden beds for their toilet. I hated putting my hands in the dirt and finding surprises. In desperation one year, I stuck plastic forks in the dirt, tines up, so when the cats tried to take a squat, their butts got poked.
