He's at the fosters, she's going to get him crate trained, housebroken until I bring him home, but said I should visit frequently, yippee!

She's a dog trainer, said D is a puppy, 9-12 months. He weighs about 35 pounds, but I had no problem picking him up.

Working on a name.

So happy for you @fuzzi
Love all the pictures of the aurora!
Went to bed super early last night so I missed them, but I am sure I will see some pictures from last nights show later.
I did see another shooting star while running this morning. I love that part about being up here and in a small town.

I like Caleb. ❤️

Coffee is ready. @Ridgetop , husband and Ozel arrived yesterday afternoon. We sat outside with her for a bit, then I went and got Buford. She snarled up on him and we laughed. I kept him beside me for awhile, then took him to play with Sheba. We sat outside until dusk. We put Ozel in my stock trailer that I parked in a holding pen, with her blanket, food and water. I put Buford in the holding pen overnight. The next few days should be interesting.

Good morning all!
OK - let's see - Caleb - yuppers. Bandit is a cute name too - but there are a lot of Bandits out there. I'm a firm believer of dogs growing into their names -- and Bandit - well, where's my sock? I lost a shoe? Didn't I put that frozen chicken on the counter???
Soo all the pics of the Northern Lights were gorgeous and I'm too far south to catch any of that but I think someone upstairs felt sorry for us and sent us this sunset last night to let us not feel left out...

My St Croix ram is growing up -- 8 mos old now.....

I really like the look with the furnishings (? if that's what you call the hair on the withers and neck). When he's out in the field he's pretty impressive to see. It'll be interesting to see if that is passed on in his ram lambs (possible in the next lambing).
The forecast rain has yet again been pushed back another day. It's sure to come - forecast added more days to the end (I swear the forecast whatevers are attention hogs ) - not complaining this time around as it gives me another day to get ready. And DH is going to pick up A LOT of pumpkins for the sheep - they'll be happy with pumpkins on the menu.
