Those are nice Specked Sussex, if that's what they are. The black "v" at the tip of the feathers is sharp, clear. It's hard to get it correct with the bantams.
thanks and they are Jubilee Orpingtons. I can't show them anymore because they are over 1 year old.
I never even knew that speckled sussex were also bantams

this spring we are getting another horse so me & my little sis don't have to share Phoebe anymore.
I still like Phoebe but she wouldn't really be good for speed events which I kind of want to do and she wouldn't do goat tying either so I want a horse that is good for that. the main problem with Phoebe is just that she is a mare.

I think my parents are thinking that the horse will be mine even though they haven't said for sure yet. But my little sister wants the new horse and almost every time my sister gets what she wants.

We have started looking at for sale ads and the ads that sound like a horse I would want until I read more about the horse and it says that it is lame in its front leg or something else that is wrong with it

If you want to do speed events, you should have a talk with your parents that this needs to be your horse. Then when your little sister gets a little older, get her a speed event horse of her own.

I told them it should be my horse but I guess I will just have to wait and see if it really does end up being mine.
I just hope we can even find a nice horse that isn't too expensive
