This morning it's mid 50s at wake up 😱🥰
And tax refund in bank. 😁 Coffee is great. Good day so far.

Now I'll call insurance road service to tow my car home. Didn't even think of that last night. Just as well, wouldn't have wanted to wait as I was tired from working all day. Before bed, thinking of getting it home, it hit me -- you have that covered by insurance, DUH!! :old  Then only concern will be "what's wrong?". I'm ok with that part -- have my truck....no rush, I'm not stranded.

Will do feeding chores, get car home, then go to work.
I'm still waiting for some tax forms, a 1099 for the piddly stock I own, bank interest, etc.

Hope the car fix isn't major.

I might do the annual route, but had the thought SSA would mess that up, too. Appreciate your input.
:thumbsup

The SSA rep said it's fixed, that they already had the correct routing number in my account. He seemed puzzled over why they used the wrong bank.
I do not have my wellcare prescription plan through the SSA... the health plan is separate..... Not sure what all you have. My SSA is one thing. My Medicare is totally different... the Medicare payment is taken out of the SSA before it goes in my account... then I pay for a supplement plan that is automatically taken out of my checking account every month... and then I pay for the "drug plan" once a year. Because I do not use any drugs regularly... like high blood pressure or insulin or anything, I got a cheap plan on advice of my ins lady from work several years ago...
My supplement plan was such that it paid for all my joint replacements, a more costly one monthly, but the way it best worked to pay those costs..because I know I was going to have to have at least one or 2 replacements....my total deductible is now about $350 a year... no other co-pays of any kind... have GREAT coverage.... then you have to add a drug/prescription plan.... if you add drug plan several years later on, you get a penalty for all the years you did not have one... so I added a cheap one as the penalty is pretty steep.
Unless you have a Medicare Advantage plan, the drug plan is NOT included....

Yep, it's Wellcare.

I chose AFLAC for my secondary, based upon my current and possible future needs. I couldn't see paying an extra $60/month for coverage that might help in the future.

Ron had Humana Medicare Advantage as it was the only local plan covering his expensive prescriptions. And one month after signing him up the local hospital entity that owns all the physician groups dropped Humana Advantage from in-network. Everything became out of pocket.

Jerks.

Car is home. That rascal started right up 😵‍💫 but still think electrical & from heater source. Had trouble a week ago with no heat. Had turned it on a couple miles before it shut down...smelled something like elec burn. Yeah....that's first to be checked. Anyway, it'll get found & fixed. At least nice weather 😁😁👍 I'll relax & work thru it.

Now, get ready & go to work!! :clapglad that I can.

I did this to myself... The need to watch Olympics at 3 AM...
Quiet empty gym waiting for me so I don't have to run circles around town.
Kids have basketball tonight, guessing it'll be close to 12 hours at work today plus the gym there this morning. Just got baby chicks, I'll try and get some pictures today.
This is why I wasn't interested in setting 3am alarms! Hope you get back on a better sleep schedule soon.

A friend shared this with me, and I immediately thought of @farmerjan and all:

Not sure if it would be helpful, just putting it out here.
Thanks, interesting to see other marketing areas.
There are dozens of different services... I watch DV Auction regularly... Corbitt Wall ... does a daily report called Feeder Flash lists different sales, different things going on in the cattle world that will be affecting things, some of the weather situation around the country......
Va also has the VDACS site that lists the different sales around here... and we get a report from one stockyard a couple days after the sale too.

Coffee is ready, on second cup. Cream and buckwheat honey, YUM! Pain pills are kicking in, it's 60 degrees with high of 74 today. Yesterday I took the plastic tray out of the large dog crate, still smeared with lamb poop, and scrubbed it outside. I dried it with paper towels and put it back in the dog crate. I walked to the gate of the front field and the ewes came running off the field, BAA BAA BAAAA BAA BAAAA! They hung around the gate and i reached through and petted some of them. I think they miss me. I petted Buford and Sheba and went back to the house. I swept the filthy floors. Just that little bit, I was paying for it by evening and this morning. :barnie :barnie :barnie :barnie :barnie
Sorry to hear that, it's so frustrating. Did they advise you of any back exercises and stretches to do? It's going to take awhile to get back to normal. Your muscles have been weakened and you will need to slowly start strengthening them again. Pilates was the best thing I ever did to strengthen my back and core. Then I moved to weight training. There are quite a few really good PT's on YouTube that have good information on how to strengthen your back and other types of injuries.
A couple of my favorites.
Tone & Tighten
Bob & Brad
You can also find pilates.

Yeah, I get not wanting to pay that much extra for "might need"... I knew I was going to have the ankle replaced... waited to go on Medicare to do it because my ins at work had a 6,000 deductible to start... and our ins lady with work and I sat down and looked at plans... and what she put her husband on when he retired and then had his knee replaced... and it costs more, but I liked not having co-pays and all this stuff... might change it in the future as it goes up every year, but to me it has been worth the extra to walk in a dr office and just hand them the cards and then not have to worry about any bills or anything after that... Mine is BC/BS as it offered the best price for the plan at the time... Might need to do more research for it for next year...

None of them will cover the SAAT for the alpha gal allergies from the tick bites... even though it is approved by the NIH as the ONLY treatment that has shown to have any effect for the Alpha gal tick disease...

Unfortunately, the Advantage plans have a bad rap for not being accepted by alot of the medical groups... But then @Mini Horses went from paying for a supplemental policy she NEVER used and went to an Advantage plan and has done great with it and the reduced costs... but she never gets sick or goes to the dr so it is perfect for her.....
