Caleb has been rebelling, I think he's feeling safer.

Tuesday it was chilly in the morning, but warmed up some by noon. We did the local park again, but instead of walking the nature trails I put Caleb on a 20' Leash Boss lead. We walked around the playing/ball fields, next to the woods. I let Caleb have some "rope", but worked him on recall. He did well, came and sat next to me most of the time. :D =D

He saw people, but no dogs. Then we walked around the playground (swings were worrisome, so I sat in one and moved it a little, ha!). Next we went along the outside of the senior center and rec buildings where they have early voting going on this week. Caleb got some petting and attention by a poll worker.

There was a banner by the door that kept flapping in the breeze that worried Caleb at first, but I brought him close and had him sit, then he relaxed. The EV charging pumps made him very anxious. We'll walk by them again, another day.

Caleb crashed when we got home. He was one tuckered pup.

Caleb is antsy this evening, not sure why. Maybe all the barking I heard in the neighborhood exacerbated a little anxiety? I noticed someone's hounds were especially vocal during this evening's walk.

He had just put himself to rest in his crate when someone drove up and parked their car across the street with their speaker bass on high.

Thank goodness for Kong "stuff"!
