Tried a new Sourdough sandwich loaf recipe today. It turned out so good. Hubs wants me to keep making it. He had a tuna sandwich and really enjoyed it.

It's probably close to $5 where I live. It's cheaper in the Tri-Cities, so that's where I try to buy my gas.

Our wonderful governor has chased off all the refineries in CA. The last one is set to leave in April I think it is. They are now projecting $8 a gallon here. We have "special" gas for the environment that will now have to be shipped in from other countries. We should really think about moving.

It was $2.45 at the cheapest place, a newly opened Sunoco, but Wawa was $2.49. Now the cheapest is $2.99, but several were $3.29 today.

Shame on them.

I wish I could make bread. I'm not good with dough.

It's the most accurate and easiest way to make it. I have a kitchen scale. They aren't that expensive. I prefer to weigh ingredients when I'm baking. I wish all recipes included weights.

My grandmother didn't measure, or use recipes, how much has changed. I'm like her, a seat-of-the-pants cook as well.
