My Messy Life - Journal

So, after a little more research. Paper wasps are usually more aggressive than hornets. But, hornets will attack in a swarm if they feel their nest is threatened.

You might want to have your hubs help you with this. Get it while it's still small.
We have an awful time with European paper wasps here. They are extremely aggressive and don't let up once they hone in on you. I go on weekly night raids for them suckers. At night is the best time. They are all home and slow moving. They love to nest in the squeeze chutes, under the roof tin on the house and in all the farm implements. They even like finding way's into engines. It's regular to go to fuel up a truck to find a new nest behind the fuel door. We fill every pipe and hole we can in with foam every few years to lesson the load of them. Picture an old western stand off. Double cans of spray in hand. A flashlight and old western music playing. Ching. Ching. Ching of the spurs walking up to them duel style. Ok maybe not quite so dramatic but it's what I picture every time the hunt is on. Sometimes sniper style depending on where the nests are at. :idunnoMaybe I should invest in a gilly suit. I dislike wasps very much.
