You must not wear gloves, because you can't take a photo with gloves on. I am not that brave.Queen cells removed I took care of at least 13 and I think the new Queen had gotten rid of at least 6. I decided to look through both deeps, frame by frame. So glad I went in there today. Now she can use her energy to lay eggs.
This has been a great learning experience.
Saw her going after one, you can't really see it because of the girls crawling on it. I smashed it so she could save her energy. Hopefully she fattens up a little as she starts laying more.
She's supposed to be a Carniolan, she's quite light. My other Carniolan queen is almost black.

I always have them handy. I judge what the temperament of the hive is, this time of year they're usually very calm. If they seem a little spicy, I will put them on. I hate wearing gloves, they're so bulky, I don't like the reduced dexterity. Most times I can work without them. You must not wear gloves, because you can't take a photo with gloves on. They definitely have a plan and they don't read books about themselves. If they did, they would be a lot easier to manage.I'm not versed in how, when, where -- that bees raise more bees in their hive. I'm sure they have a plan!. Never messed with my hive. A beekeeper helped me & was gifted the whole shebang.
He gave me honey each collection.
